Foto Friday!

Another busy and fun week here at Beanster’s Bytes!

On Monday, Crystal covered 50 Unique Birthday Ideas for your little ones. So many ideas, so little time!

Tuesday’s video covered Tips for Teaching your Toddler their Colors, which had ideas for playground and at home!

Wednesday, I talked about Milk, Milk, and More Milk, with my blog on the most popular milks.

Yesterday, Sarah finished up the week with a yummy recipe for Homemade Almond Milk.

It was also a busy week for the Beanster’s Bytes Crew, when we were away from the keyboard.

Last Friday, Crystal and Sarah went to a fun training on social media for their jobs. To avoid the assorted pastries that were provided, Sarah showed up with her yummy spinach smoothie for breakfast! Crystal said, “She was too cute and even drinking it out of a mason jar. That’s dedication and I had to share with you guys!”

Crystal went to Canes with her sister, Anna, brother Danny and her fiance, Eric. Crystal said, “Anna is the queen of the selfie and kept taking funny ones with Danny. I thought them taking the selfies was hilarious because they couldn’t even keep a straight face. The food was great (as always) and it was a great time.”

Family time

Crystal’s brother Danny and her ran some errands on Saturday going to Costco (her favorite) and some other stores. Crystal said,”We were starving so we stopped at Cafe Rio for lunch. Danny tried guac for the first time and LOVED it. It’s fun place and you can even watch them making the fresh tortillas as you stand in line. The food was fresh and delish!”

Sarah went out with a new friend to Hecho en Vegas at the MGM Grand and had a fabulous dinner. Sarah said, “The table side guacamole was wonderful and they had tons of gluten free options for me. The ceviche was fresh, super flavorful and was probably my favorite part of the meal. I love Mexican food and this dinner date did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back!”

I am drooling… And I apparently missed the eat Guacamole Memo this week!

Mexican Food

Last weekend, I flew up to Portland to surprise my best friend Jen for her baby shower. She was so shocked that I was there that she was speechless! It was a shower and the theme was Baby Q! It was a coed, full of yummy bbq food, and fun games (who can drink the fastest out of a baby bottle)! The kids even had fun playing in the tissue paper while the presents were being opened.

Jen's baby shower Other highlights from the trip included going to the farmer’s market, meeting a cute German Shepard pup named Frank, and killing time at the Portland Airport with selfies!

Portland, ORAny big plans for the weekend? How do you and your family spend the last few weeks of summer? Post it below!

Happy Weekend!
