It finally October and FALL! It’s my favorite time of year for so many reasons! Not only does the weather finally chill a little but the end of September kicks off the holiday season for our family starting with Beans’s Birthday, then Halloween in October. I love the holidays, it’s just a great excuse to have family time and cook, two of my favorite things. Anyways, let’s get on with my Trending Bytes for September & October.
Tea Tree Oil Toothpaste
In my search for a toothpaste that didn’t contain fluoride and actually cleaned, tasted nice and freshened my breath I came across Desert Essence at Sprouts. I love this toothpaste! I was a little scared that it contained Tea Tree oil as it can be a little strong sometimes and I wasn’t sure I wanted it in my mouth. After some debate the healing and cleansing properties won out and I decided to give it a try. I loved it!! It’s so refreshing and tastes great! They have several other blends of so I may try one them next.
Desiccated Liver Pills
I’ve been dealing my iron deficiency anemia since I was in my early twenties, I’ve taken tons of different iron pills, tried iron infusion and more to get my levels up. I have such poor absorption from my Hashimotos that I really struggle taken the iron knowing I have to deal with all the other symptoms it brings along without it absorbing. So, I got on Amazon and found Desiccated Liver Pills. I take these with a small amount of orange juice to help them absorb and I have been feeling great! I am not cold all of the time like I used to be, my nails are super strong and my hair looks healthier then ever!
Hi, I am Crystal and I am Costco addict. I’ve mentioned many times how big of a fan of Costco I am but lately I’ve been loving it even more! They have made such an effort to add more organic foods to their stores in the last couple of years that Costco really is my go to grocery store! I buy everything from my laundry detergent to Einsteins dog treats there. I save so much money buying our meats, vegetables and other food items in bulk and freezing the excess for later meals. If you would like to see what I buy on a normal trip, let me know in the comments below!
That’s all for this month! Have you tried any of these? What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below!
