Welcome to November! Like I’ve said before, this is my favorite time of year! Today, I am sharing 3 things that I have been really loving lately. Let’s get started!
I ordered an Instant pot back in July after I had heard so many people talk about loving them. Well on Amazon Prime day, they had them on deep discount so I figured, why not? Well now that I’ve actually figured out how to use it, I LOVE it. It took me a little while to figure out what it does best, how not to overcook things and how to really use it to my advantage. Now I use it for most things, a quick soup that tastes like its been cooking all day, the best chicken wings I’ve ever had, ribs, rice for Eric and more! I highly recommend it to anyone but especially for anyone who works full time and/or has kids, a busy life…well really I highly recommend it to anyone, it’s life changing.
It’s fall and it’s been a little cooler here in the desert and I can’t seem to get enough soup! I made 3 different ones this week! They were delicioius and it really warms you up without heating up the kitchen. My favorites are a paleo beef and onion soup (I plan on sharing soon, just gotta perfect the recipe) and a faux chili I found on Autoimmune Paleo.
If you happened to google Beansters Bytes over the past two months, you have have noticed a “This site my have been hacked,” warning. Well..we got hacked, not just a little bit hacked but so much I had no idea how to fix it. I consider myself pretty computer savvy and I know internet security pretty well but this was way over my head. Well, Wordfence to the rescue! In less than two days, they got our site back and better than ever! I am happy to report that our site is more safe then it has ever been. We are monitoring it very, very closely to keep you safe and us safe. Thank you for being patient with us through this. So Wordfence is definately one of my favorite things these past couple of months! 🙂
That’s all for this month’s trending things in my life. Be sure to check out Heidi’s trending bytes also! What’s trending for you this month? Let me know in the comments below!
