Welcome to November! Hopefully, you have successfully survived Halloween and are recovering. Mine was pretty quiet and I was okay with that. When I started thinking about what items I am loving right now, three things came to mind. While it may seem like they have nothing to do with each other, each item is all about saving money and who doesn’t want to do that?
I first came across this product on Good Morning America when they featured it on their Deals & Steals. I was so excited that I ordered two sets, one for the kitchen and one for my cosmetics. I know what you are thinking, Heidi they are tiny spatulas. Yes, AND they are amazing. Case in point see below. This is a peanut butter jar after using the Spatty.
Amazing, right?! I am really looking forward to using my other set on hard lotion bottles or other cosmetic containers that are not easy to get to the bottom of. Big bonus: these are inexpensive, help reduce waste, and save you money (by using more of the product).
I cannot say enough good things about Imperfect Produce! It is a produce delivery service that is affordable, eliminates waste, and sources produce as locally as possible. What makes this service unique is that the produce used is considered “ugly” or not acceptable to be sold in the grocery store (due to size, quantity, or have blemishes). Thus, these fruits and veggies that would be throw in the trash are now finding new homes. Truthfully, I have yet to really get any produce that is ugly or that I would not eat. Plus, I have been trying veggies that I would not necessarily pick out for myself. Plus, customer service is great with any issues I have had.
While this company is currently only available in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, I encourage you to look in your area to see if you have a similar service. Also, going to Farmer’s Markets or CSA boxes are a great way to support local farmers.
Note: if you do live in the Bay Area and want to sign up, you can add my name as the referral to save 10 dollars!
My family has used many of the products from the Super Salve Company for many years. With a handful of ingredients that are usually from plants or other naturally occurring sources, their products are safe to use for everyone. Recently, I had a sore muscle in my back that was painful. I put some on my back and within a few minutes felt relief. After putting it on a few more times throughout the day, I was back to normal. A huge bonus is that this stuff lasts forever as a dab will do you.
Note: These recommendations are for the reduction of stress only. They are not intended as treatment or prescription for any disease, or as a substitute for regular medical care.
There you have it, the money saving items that I am loving right now. Check out what Crystal is all about for her November Edition of Trending Bytes!
